4 Press down on the battery cover and slide it back into place. To remove the battery, open the battery cover as described in step 2, then release the white battery catch and take out the battery. Turning Your Camera On and Off Before turning on your camera, remove the protective film sheet covering the LCD screen. ◗ To turn on the camera, press the POWER button on the top. The LCD screen turns on. If the camera is set to a shooting mode, the lens cover opens and the lens pops out. ◗ To turn off the camera, press the POWER button. Press down on the battery cover

Turning Your Camera On and Off
