Recording Videos You can record videos with sound. The length of the video is limited only by the amount of storage available on your memory card. 1 Turn the Mode dial to video. 2 Press the MENU button. You see the Movie Menu. 3 Move the joystick to r to change the Resolution setting. 4 Move the joystick to u or d to select a resolution setting, then press the OK button. Lower resolution settings (320 × 240 or 160 × 120) let you take longer videos, but they play in a smaller window if you view them on your computer. 5 Move the joystick to d and then to r to change the Quality setting. 6 Move the joystick to u or d to select a setting, then press the OK button. 7 Press the MENU button to exit the menu. 8 To zoom in on your subject, press the T (telephoto) button. To zoom out, press the W (wide-angle) button. (Once you start recording, you can only zoom if you have digital zoom turned on; see your Reference Guide for instructions.) 25
