Disconnecting from peripheral
devices
To disconnect your notebook from peripheral devices:

Save your work in progress.

Shut down Windows and turn off your notebook.

Disconnect the cord from the AC adapter.

Disconnect the keyboard, pointing device, printer, external monitor, and
other external devices.
5
Disconnect the Kensington lock if you are using one to secure your
notebook.
