SERVICE DISPLAY The following message will be displayed periodically if the security system requires service. Call your service provider promptly if this message is observed. Control Ground fault Control Loss of time Control Low Battery Control Over-current Control Phone trouble Control Power trouble Control Siren trouble Expansion Aux. comm. fail NX148E-CF (Optional) The Box Tamper circuit has activated. The control attempted to communicate a message to the Central Station, but was unsuccessful. A short to ground has been detected on a control circuit. Your system has lost total power and needs the clock reset. The standby battery is low. A short circuit of a control's power supply has occurred. The phone line connected to the control is not operating properly. The main power to your system is not on. Open circuit has occurred on the bell or siren circuit. An auxiliary reporting device has failed to communicate. 23
