USING THE OVEN: Cooking Modes Cooking Modes Your new oven has a variety of cooking modes to help you get the best results. These modes are described below. Refer to the Cooking Guide section for recommendations for specific foods. Remember, your new oven may perform differently than the oven it is replacing. Bake The traditional bake mode is intended for single rack cooking. This mode uses heat primarily from the lower element but also from the upper element to cook food. To use this mode touch the Bake pad, enter a temperature, and then touch Start. To use this mode touch the Broil Hi/Lo pad twice and then touch Start. Pizza Touch the Pizza pad. Touch the number pads to select 1 for fresh or 2IRUIUR]HQSL]]D7RXFKWKHQXPEHUSDGVWR set the baking temperature. Touch the Start pad. Warm The Warm feature keeps cooked foods hot. This feature is not designed to reheat cold food. To use the Warm feature, touch the Warm pad from upper oven or the Warm/Proof pad from lower oven once and then the StartSDG7RXVHWKH:DUPIHDWXUHDIWHU7LPHG%DNLQJ or Roasting, follow these steps. Touch the mode of cooking that you want to use (Bake, Convection Bake Multi, Convection Bake 1 Rack Or Convection Roast). Touch the number pads to set the oven temperature. Touch the Cook Time pad. Touch the number pads to set the desired length of cooking time. Touch the Warm or the Warm/Proof pad once. Touch the Start pad. To crisp stale items place food in low-sided dishes or pans. For best results, place the food items in a single OD\HU'RQRWVWDFN/HDYHWKHPXQFRYHUHG&KHFN crispness after 20-30 minutes. Add time as needed. Proof Proof mode is designed for rising (fermenting and proofing) bread doughs. Cover dough well to prevent GU\LQJRXW%UHDGZLOOULVHPRUHUDSLGO\WKDQDWURRP temperature. Touch the Warm/Proof pad twice. The display will read "PrF" (proof) and touch Start pad. You may set timer for minimum proof time, but it is not required. When proofing is finished, touch the Cancel/ Off pad. The oven interior light turns on and remains on during proofing. NOTE: Proofing will not operate when oven is above 125°F. "HOT" will show in the display. Convection Bake 1 Rack 7KH&RQYHFWLRQ%DNH5DFNPRGHLVLQWHQGHGIRU single rack cooking. This mode uses heat from the lower element and also the upper and rear elements, along with air movement from the convection fan to enhance evenness. Your oven is equipped with Auto Recipe Conversion feature, it automatically reduces the set regular baking temperature by the recommended 25°F. See Auto Recipe™ Conversion in the Special Features section. To use this mode touch the Convection Bake (1 Rack/Multi) and touch 1 for 1 Rack, enter a temperature, and then touch Start. Convection Bake Multi Rack 7KH&RQYHFWLRQ%DNH0XOWL5DFNPRGHLVLQWHQGHGIRU baking on multiple racks at the same time. This mode uses heat primarily from the rear element but also heat from the upper and lower elements, along with air movement from the convection fan to enhance cooking evenness. The traditional bake mode is intended for single rack
