Each console switch name and server name might be composed of any combination of uppercase and lowercase letters (a through z, A through Z), digits (0 to 9), and hyphens (-). Spaces and periods (.) are not allowed, and the name may not consist entirely of digits. These are Active Directory constraints. The factory default console switch name in earlier versions contains a space that must be removed by editing the system name in the SNMP category of the Manage Console Switch window.
