IMPORTANT: Perform this step each time you want to test authentication of a user to a target system. 8. After the basic LDAP communication test succeeds, log in to the console switch from the HP IP Console Viewer. a. Select Global>Authentication. b. Select Use LDAP for Authentication Only.
