It is a condition of approval that the power required by the host and the total of all adapter boards installed within the host environment, together with any auxilliary apparatus, does not exceed the power specification as stated in the Advanced Setup Guide of the apparatus. Ensure that only equipment having connection points with the same safety status as identified above is connected to each individual interconnection point provided by the HP PC communications board. Always disconnect the host PC from the power supply before removing the cover. Always disconnect the host PC from any analog telephone circuits before removing any covers. Failure to install the HP PC communications board in accordance with the instructions provided above will invalidate the approval.
