Heat sink, To remove the heat sink, use these procedures and illustrations.

1. Remove the I/O side frame (I/O side frame on page 28). 2. Remove the bottom shield (Bottom shield on page 29). 3. Remove the system board (System board on page 35). Remove the fan: 1. Turn the system board right side up with the front toward you. 2. Disconnect the fan cable (1) from the system board. 3. Remove the two Phillips M2.0 × 4.0 screws (2) that secure the fan to the system board. 4. Remove the fan (3). Reverse this procedure to install the fan.
