NOTE: When replacing the top cover, be sure to remove the following components from the defective top cover and install them on the replacement top cover: ● NFC board (see NFC board on page 37) ● Solid-state drive connector board (see Card Reader board cable on page 36) ● Card Reader board (see Card Reader board on page 44) ● Power button board (see Power button board on page 45) Remove the top cover: 1. Release the ZIF connector to which the TouchPad cable is connected, and then disconnect the TouchPad cable (1) from the TouchPad. 2. Disconnect the speaker cable (2) from the system board. 3.
