CAUTION: Removing a battery that is the sole power source for the tablet can cause loss of information. To prevent loss of information, save your work or shut down the tablet through Windows before removing the battery. Remove the keyboard base battery: 1. Disconnect the battery cable (1) from the docking board. 2. Remove the eight Phillips PM1.85×3.00 screws (2) that secure the battery to the keyboard/ top cover. 3. Remove the keyboard base battery (3). Reverse this procedure to install the keyboard base battery. 62 Chapter 5 Removal and replacement procedures
