Connecting to the Internet Your HP Pavilion PC is Internet-ready and comes with everything you need to use the Internet: • Free* Internet access without the use of a credit card (*Please read the terms and conditions on page 53) • A Personal Message Board where you can create and post messages to family and friends • Personalized e-mail accounts • Choice of three browsers • A Web site dedicated to HP Pavilion PC owners Signing Up for Internet Access If you haven’t yet signed up for your free* Internet access: 1 Double-click the Easy Internet Access icon on your desktop, or press the Internet button on your keyboard. 2 Watch the interactive demo to acquaint yourself with the Web and see how to use e-mail. 3 Click Sign Up to register for your free Internet access trial. 4 Follow the instructions on your screen. During the sign-up process, you have the option of adding multiple e-mail accounts.
