Removal and replacement procedures TV tuner module cable ✎ The TV tuner module cable is available in the Cable Kit, spare part number 533466-001. Before removing the TV tuner module cable, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see "Battery" on page 4-7). 5. Remove the following components: a. Optical drive (see "Optical drive" on page 4-9) b. Hard drive (see "Hard drive" on page 4-15) c. Switch cover and keyboard (see "Switch cover and keyboard" on page 4-20) d. Display assembly (see "Display assembly" on page 4-25) e. Top cover (see "Top cover" on page 4-30) f. USB board (see "USB board" on page 4-35) g. System board (see "System board" on page 4-37) Remove the TV tuner module cable: 1. Remove the TV tuner module cable from the clips 1 built into the base enclosure. 2. Remove the TV tuner module cable 2 from the clips and routing channel 3 built into the base enclosure. TV tuner module cable
The TV tuner module cable is available in the Cable Kit, spare part number 533466-001.
Before removing the TV tuner module cable, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on,
and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then
unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
4. Remove the battery (see
“Battery” on page 4-7
).
5. Remove the following components:
a.
Optical drive (see

)
b.
Hard drive (see
“Hard drive” on page 4-15
)
c.
Switch cover and keyboard (see

Remove the TV tuner module cable:
1. Remove the TV tuner module cable from the clips

Reverse this procedure to install the TV tuner module cable.
