6. Align the notch on the bottom edge of the memory module with the keyed surface of the DIMM slot, and then fully press the memory module into the slot until the latches snap back into place. 7. CAUTION: To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do not operate the server unless all PCI slots have either an expansion slot cover or an expansion board installed.
