Overview UPS R5000 overview The HP UPS R5000 features a 3U rackmount design and offers power protection for loads up to 5000 VA/4500 W. Important safety information WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, only connect unit input to a circuit provided with branch circuit overcurrent protection for 40 A rating in accordance with the National Electric Code, ANSI/NFPA 70. Disconnect the charging source prior to connecting or disconnecting battery terminals. Determine if the battery is inadvertently grounded. If inadvertently grounded, remove the source from the ground. WARNING: Contact with any part of a grounded battery can result in electrical shock.
