Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer. 3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer. 4. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 34). 5. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 35). Remove the TouchPad: 1. Remove the TouchPad cable (1). 2. Remove the three Phillips M1.6×2.0-I screws (2). 3. Remove the TouchPad (3). To insert the TouchPad, reverse the removal procedures. TouchPad 37

Before removing the TouchPad, follow these steps:
1.
Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer

Remove the TouchPad cable
