Before removing the system board, follow these steps: 1. Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer. 3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer. 4. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 34). 5. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 35). 6. Remove the fan (see Fans on page 44). Remove the system board: 1. Disconnect the following cables: (1) Audio board (2) Rear right speaker (3) Antenna cable (4) Webcam cable (5) Display cable (6) Rear left speaker cable (7) Power button cable (8) Front left speaker cable (9) Backlight cable (10) Keyboard cable (11) TouchPad cable (12) Fingerprint cable (13) Front speaker cable System board 47
