Fabric Assist Mode Telnet Commands fazoneRemove Remove members from a Fabric Assist mode zone. Synopsis fazoneRemove "fazoneName", "fazoneMember; fazoneMember" Availability admin Description This command removes one or more members from an existing Fabric Assist zone. fazoneName is the name of an existing Fabric Assist zone. fazoneMemberList is a semi-colon separated list of one or more: ■ Physical Fabric port numbers ■ WWNs ■ Fabric Assist alias names ■ Exactly one Fabric Assist host member The member list is found by an exact string match. Order is important when removing multiple members of a Fabric Assist zone. For example, if a Fabric Assist zone contains "array2; array3; array4" then removing "array4; array3" fails, but removing "array3; array4" succeeds. If issuing this command results in all members being removed, the Fabric Assist zone is deleted. Note: This command does not change the defined configuration (which you can view using the cfgShow command) until the cfgSave command is issued. For the change to become effective, an appropriate Fabric Assist zone configuration must be enabled using the cfgEnable command. Description
This command removes one or more members from an existing Fabric Assist
zone.
fazoneName
is the name of an existing Fabric Assist zone.
fazoneMemberList
is a semi-colon separated list of one or more:
Physical Fabric port numbers
WWNs
Fabric Assist alias names
Exactly one Fabric Assist host member
The member list is found by an exact string match. Order is important when
removing multiple members of a Fabric Assist zone. For example, if a Fabric
Assist zone contains “a
