Each FBWC has a capacitor pack to ensure cache contents are maintained after a loss of power. Each Smart Array RAID controller has an integral capacitor pack, whilst the P410i controller's capacitor pack is located in the holder in the centre of the HP D2D4312 Backup System. Each FBWC module has two single-color LEDs (green and amber). The LEDs are duplicated on the reverse side of the cache module to facilitate status viewing.
