With the HP Vectra turned off, install the 3COM 3C509B network adapter into an ISA slot. 4 Connect network cable media to the 3COM 3C509B network adapter. 5 Power on the system and press "SHIFT-" to boot to Windows 95 command prompt. 6 Insert the 3COM 3C509B driver disk and execute "3C5X9CFG.EXE". 7 Select "CONFIGURE NIC" and verify the resource settings listed above under the heading "Device Configuration". 8 If changes are required, save those changes and exit.
