Documentation on the blade workstation plus documentation on the features and infrastructure that are common between the blade workstation and the server blade, are available in the following locations: • On the Documentation and Diagnostics CD that ships with the blade workstation • On the HP website http://www.hp.com/support/xw460c_manuals 1-5 HP Remote Graphics Software documentation HP Remote Graphics Software (RGS) provides the link between the blade workstation and the client computer. Using RGS, the blade workstation desktop image is transmitted over the network to the client computer, which displays the desktop image locally. RGS is designed to provide fast capture, compression and transmission of the desktop image over standard TCP/IP networks. RGS also captures keyboard and mouse inputs from the client computer, and sends them to the blade workstation for processing by the OS and the applications running on the blade workstation. RGS is pre-installed on the three client computers described in this document. RGS documentation, including the RGS User Guide, is available in the following locations: • On the Documentation and Diagnostics CD that ships with your client computer • On the HP website http://www.hp.com/support/rgs_manuals The above website also contains a list of USB devices which can be connected to the client computer, and then remotely attached to the blade workstation-see Section 6-6, "Remote USB", for details. 1-5 HP Remote Graphics Software documentation
HP Remote Graphics Software (RGS) provides the link between the blade workstation and the client computer.
