Problem Food does not boil properly Oven temperature too hot or too cold Storage drawer is crooked Storage drawer won't close Clock and timer do not work (on some models) Possible Causes What To Do Oven controls improperly set. • On models with touch pad controls, make sure you touch the BROIL HI/LO pad. • On models with a control knob, make sure you turn the control knob all the way to the BROIL position. Door not open to the broil • See the Using the oven section. stop position as recommended. Improper shelf position being used. • See the Broiling Guide. Cookware not suited for broiling. • Use the broiling pan and grid that came with your range. On models with a probe, the probe is plugged into the outlet in the oven. • Unplug and remove the probe from the oven. In some areas the power (voltage) may be low. • Preheat the broil element for 10 minutes. • Broil for the longest period of time recommended in the Broiling Guide.
