Updated October 31, 2007 Removing a blank lock insert To remove a blank lock insert, use the blank lock installation handle to turn the locking screw counterclockwise until you can lift the blank lock insert out of the lock cylinder. Note: See "Installing and removing lock inserts" on page 82 to install any lock inserts or blank lock inserts in your I/O devices. Installing the keyboard-V and the PLU keyboard When you install a keyboard-V or the PLU keyboard, you can perform any of these tasks: v Change the keytop label v Change the keyboard layout v Change the keytops Changing the keytop labels To change the keytop labels, follow these procedures: B A C Figure 87. Installing the keytop labels 1. Insert the keytop remover A in Figure 87 into a key B and remove the keycap. 2. Place the label C on the keytop. 3. Install the transparent keycap on the keytop. To
remove
a
blank
lock
insert,
use
the
blank
lock
installation
handle
to
turn
the
locking
screw
counterclockwise
until
you
can
lift
the
blank
lock
insert
out
of
the
lock
cylinder.

When

install
a
keyboard-V

keyboard,
you
can

label

To
change
the
keytop
labels,
follow
these
procedures:
1.
Insert
the
keytop
remover
±A²
in
Figure
87
into
a
key
±B²
and
remove
the
keycap.
2.
Place
the
label
±C²
on
the
keytop.
3.
Install
the
transparent
keycap
on
the
keytop.
Note:
The
USB
keyboard-V
and
the
PLU
keyboard
are
not
shipped
with
transparent
keycaps;
they
are
shipped
with
solid
keycaps.
