Replacing the Constant Force Spring, Securing the Elevator Assembly

Replacing the Constant Force Spring 1. Remove the stacker assembly from the printer. (See page 378.) ATTENTION In the next step, do not over-tighten the tie wraps or string. Tighten the tie wraps or string just enough to hold the elevator up. 2. Raise the elevator assembly to its highest position and secure it to the vertical rails using tie wraps or string.
