An alert box appears telling you that you must save your settings and warm boot the CN50 for the new security choice to take effect. 3 Choose Yes. The CN50 resets and starts with Microsoft Security as the Security Choice. 4 Start Intermec Settings. 5 Choose Communications > 802.11 Radio > Microsoft Security. 6 For Network Authentication, choose Open. 7 For Data Encryption, choose Disabled. 8 Tap OK. Configuring the Phone The CN50 supports two types of mobile wireless phone technology: • CDMA • UMTS With the radio module installed in the CN50, you can send and receive telephone calls as well as transmit data through wide-area (WAN) cellular networks. The CN50 provides a phone speaker, microphone, and speakerphone. It also supports Bluetooth headsets or hands-free kits. The factory default setting for the phone is disabled. After you activate the phone with the wireless carrier of your choice, you can customize the features of the phone and network settings. For help, refer to the online help on your CN50.
