7 SETUP/MAINTENANCE 7.15 Removing/Installing the Manual Tilt Release Lever from the Stroller Handle ƽ WARNING After ANY adjustments, repair or service and BEFORE use, make sure all attaching hardware is tightened securely otherwise injury or damage may occur. Removing  For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 13. 1. Cut tie-wrap that secures the cable to the back cane (Detail "A" of FIGURE 13). 2. Remove the mounting screw and square nut that secures the tilt release lever to the stroller handle.  The tilt release cable is still connected to the tilt cylinder. Installing 1. Secure the tilt release lever to the stroller handle with the existing mounting screw and square nut. 2. Secure the cable to the wheelchair frame with tie wrap (Detail "A" of FIGURE 13). 3. Adjust the tilt release cable, if necessary. Refer to Adjusting the Manual Tilt Cable Assembly on page 61. Removing/Installing the Manual Tilt Release Lever from the Stroller Handle
Removing
1.
Cut tie-wrap that secures the cable to the back cane (Detail “A” of
FIGURE 13).
2.
Remove the mounting screw and square nut that secures the tilt
release lever to the stroller handle.
Installing
1.
Secure the tilt release lever to the stroller handle with the existing
mounting screw and square nut.
2.
Secure the cable to the wheelchair frame with tie wrap (Detail “A”
of FIGURE 13).
3.
Adjust the tilt release cable, if necessary. Refer to Adjusting the
Manual Tilt Cable Assembly
on page 61.
