SIMPLE PLAYBACK AND RECORDING EN 21 EJECT VHS Simple Playback Turn on the TV and select the AV mode. EJECT PLAY S(TROewPind) REW FF (Fast-Forward) DV REW (Rewind) T 1 4 W 2 5 3 2 6 7 8 9 0 4 DV PLAY VHS 1 DV VHS FF (Fast-Forward) STOP 3 LOAD A CASSETTE 1 Make sure the window side is up, the rear label side is facing you and the arrow on the front of the cassette is pointing towards the VCR. Don't apply too much pressure when inserting. ● The VCR's power comes on automatically. ● The counter is automatically reset to "0:00:00" (VHS deck only). ● VHS deck If the cassette's record safety tab has been removed, playback begins automatically. DV deck If the cassette's erase protection switch is set to "SAVE", playback begins automatically. SELECT DECK 2 Press VHS or DV. The VHS or DV indicator lights. FIND PROGRAM START POINT 3 If the tape is advanced past the start point, press REW. To go forward, press FF. START PLAYBACK 4 Press PLAY. "VIDEO CALIBRATION" appears on the screen (when VIDEO CALIBRATION is set to "ON" (VHS deck only) ੬ pg. 34). STOP PLAYBACK 5 Press STOP. Then press EJECT on the VHS deck or DV deck to remove the cassette. Make sure the window side is up, the rear label side is
facing you and the arrow on the front of the cassette is
pointing towards the VCR. Don’t apply too much
pressure when inserting.

The VCR’s power comes on automatically.

The counter is automatically reset to "0:00:00" (VHS
deck only).

VHS deck
If the cassette's record safety tab has been removed,
playback begins automatically.
DV deck
