Worth knowing about USB devices Notes on using a USB device This device is capable of playing audio files stored on a flash memory or digital audio player if these devices have a USB port (these devices are referred to as USB Devices in this document). The following restrictions apply to the usable USB Devices: Usable USB Devices • USB Devices that belong to the USB Mass Storage Class. • USB Devices whose maximum power consumption is 500 mA or less. • USB Mass Storage Class: USB Devices that the PC recognises as external storage without the need for a special driver or application software. • Consult your dealer if you are not sure whether your USB device complies with the specifications for the USB Mass Storage Class. • Using a USB device that is not supported may result in erroneous playback or display of the audio file. Even if you use a USB device that meets the above specifications, audio files may not play back properly depending on the type or condition of the USB device. 28. Disposal Disposal of used electrical and electronic equipment and batteries. The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol on the product or its packaging indicates that this product must not be treated as normal household waste, but must be returned to a collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment and batteries.
