FUNCTIONS OVERVIEW Following is a brief overview of the functions available on the transceiver accessible using the Menu and/or programmable to the transceiver buttons. For details on functions that are not included in "FUNCTION DETAILS" {p. 33} , please contact your dealer. ● Texts in the < > brackets are the displays for the button guides. ● Some functions may not be available depending on the transceiver used. *1: Functions available on Portable transceivers only. *2: Functions available on NX-3200/ NX-3300 only. *3: Functions available on Mobile transceivers only. o None No function has been programmed. o 2-tone Allows you to quickly call the 2-tone list that have been programmed onto your transceiver. o Activity Detection *1 Enables or disables Activity Detection. If an event occurs while Activity Detection is enabled, the transceiver enters Emergency mode. o Activity Reset *1 While Activity Detection is active, press this button to reset the Activity Detection countdown timer. This allows you to remain in a tilted or stationary position, etc., without activating the Emergency mode unnecessarily. o ANR Preset Cancels the background noise to improve the audio quality during transmission. o Audio Profile Allows you to select a preferred preset profile that suits the operating environment and operating condition of the transceiver. o Auto Telephone Automatically searches and connects to a telephone repeater that can be connected in LTR Trunking system. o Autodial Allows you to quickly call telephone numbers that have been programmed onto your transceiver. Refer to "Autodial" {p. 37} . o Autodial Programming Allows you to edit the Autodial list. 21

Allows you to quickly call the 2-tone list that have been programmed onto your
transceiver.

Activity Detection <ActDet>

Enables or disables Activity Detection. If an event occurs while Activity Detection is
enabled, the transceiver enters Emergency mode.
o
Activity Reset <ActRst>

While Activity Detection is active, press this button to reset the Activity Detection
countdown timer. This allows you to remain in a tilted or stationary position, etc.,
without activating the Emergency mode unnecessarily.
