For Mobile transceivers, this allows you to send your positioning data to the base station. However, the following must be noted. ● When using the NX-3720G, NX-3720HG, NX-3820G, NX-3820HG, you must connect a KRA-40 GPS antenna. ● When using the NX-3720, NX-3720H, NX-3820, NX-3820H, you must connect an external GPS unit. ● When the power is turned ON and/or the reception condition of the GPS satellite is poor, positioning may take longer to complete. ● When using the built-in GPS Receiver, "GPS Ant Fail" appears on the display if the GPS antenna is not connected or the connection is abnormal (e.g. short circuit). o Short Message Allows you to send short messages such as an address, telephone number, etc. 29

Send the GPS Data <GPS_TX>
For Portable transceivers, this allows you to send your positioning data to the base
station when a GPS unit has been installed.
For Mobile transceivers, this allows you to send your positioning data to the base
station. However, the following must be noted.
When using the NX-3720G, NX-3720HG, NX-3820G, NX-3820HG, you must connect a
KRA-40 GPS antenna.
When using the NX-3720, NX-3720H, NX-3820, NX-3820H, you must connect an external
GPS unit.
When the power is turned ON and/or the reception condition of the GPS satellite is poor,
positioning may take longer to complete.
When using the built-in GPS Receiver, “GPS Ant Fail” appears on the display if the GPS
