Switchback/Duplex section Theory of operation Ver.1.0 Nov. 2007 23.3.2 Switchback guide movable mechanism • The movable lever rotates driven by the fusing motor to push down the switchback guide. When the guide reaches to the bottom, the lever cannot be driven due to the torque limiter between the movable lever axis and the gear. The guide goes back to the upper position with the spring that rotates the gear backward and pushes up the switchback guide.
