Pressure position control • The pressure and retraction operation of the 1st transfer roller is controlled as the 1st image transfer retraction position sensor detects the movement of the sliding plate. 1. The 1st image transfer pressure/retraction clutch is energized. 2. The sliding plate is moved to press the 1st transfer rollers up against the transfer belt, which blocks the 1st image transfer retraction position sensor. 3. After the lapse of a predetermined period of time after the 1st image transfer retraction position sensor has been blocked, the 1st image transfer pressure/retraction clutch is de-energized. B. Retraction position control • The pressure and retraction operation of the 1st transfer roller is controlled as the 1st image transfer retraction position sensor detects the movement of the sliding plate. 1. The 1st image transfer pressure/retraction clutch is energized. 2. The sliding plate is moved to retract the 1st transfer rollers from the transfer belt. As a result, the 1st image transfer retraction position sensor, which has been blocked, is now unblocked. 3. 1st transfer roller pressure/retraction position control
A.
Pressure position control
The pressure and retraction operation of the 1st transfer roller is controlled as the 1st
image transfer retraction position sensor detects the movement of the sliding plate.
1.
The 1st image transfer pressure/retraction clutch is energized.
2.
The sliding plate is moved to press the 1st transfer rollers up against the transfer
belt, which blocks the 1st image transfer retraction position sensor.
3.
After the lapse of a predetermined period of time after the 1st image transfer retrac-
tion position sensor has been blocked, the 1st image transfer pressure/retraction
clutch is de-energized.
B.
Retraction position control
The pressure and retraction operation of the 1st transfer roller is controlled as the 1st
image transfer retraction position sensor detects the movement of the sliding plate.
1.
The 1st image transfer pressure/retraction clutch is energized.
2.
The sliding plate is moved to retract the 1st transfer rollers from the transfer belt. As
a result, the 1st image transfer retraction position sensor, which has been blocked,
is now unblocked.
3.
After the lapse of a predetermined period of time after the 1st image transfer retrac-
tion position sensor has been unblocked, the 1st image transfer pressure/retraction
clutch is de-energized.
