The residual toner is thereby removed from the transfer belt. • No forced cleaning sequence is carried out to clean the entire surface of the transfer belt. A. Such a request is honored after the backward rotation control is completed. A. Operation timing • The 1st transfer belt backward rotation is performed after a predetermined number of printed pages are produced after the execution of the last backward rotation control.
