4.15 Job Operations 4 4.15 Job Operations If this machine is equipped with Saddle Stitcher SD-513 and Creaser Unit CR-101, Trimmer Unit TU-503, or Folding Unit FD-504, job operations may differ from normal operations. 4.15.1 Operating Prior Print When Prior Print is specified to temporarily stop the currently output job and first output a ready job in the active job list, if Saddle Stitcher SD-513 is installed on this machine, it may cause the following cases. - If the print job in progress is using Saddle Stitcher SD-513 while any output sheets are left inside the saddle stitcher, the machine suspends printing when a set currently output is completed. - When Creaser Unit CR-101 or Trimmer Unit TU-503 is attached to Saddle Stitcher SD-513, if fold & staple or multi half-fold is used in combination with crease or 2-side slitting and if any output sheets are left inside any of the machine, the machine suspends printing when a set currently output is completed. - If the suspended job is using Saddle Stitcher SD-513 while no output sheets are left inside the saddle stitcher, the machine starts output for the top-priority job instead of the suspended job after restarting the operation. 4.15.2 Printing a Sample during Output and Checking it: Sample Print Some types of print job do not allow you to check the output images till all the machine operations are completed. Use Sample Print to deliver a sample image to another tray without interrupting the job in process, so that you can check the quality of printed images at that time. Sample printing is possible for a job that is folded & stapled and output using Saddle Stitcher SD-513. See the User's Guide supplied with this machine for details on sample printing.
