JETVARNISH 3D One 4 JETVARNISH 3D ONE SPECIFICATIONS AND CONFIGURATIONS 4.1 Machine specifications For the machines produced from September 2020 - S/N ≥ 141 MGI's exclusive inkjet engine technology Drop-on-Demand (DoD) technology Printing technology Konica Minolta piezoelectric inkjet printheads Single pass printing Varnish thicknesses Production speeds Flexible printing architecture Depending on your file, the printed material, the CYMK printing technology and/or finishing technology used, the coating thickness can vary from 21 µm up to 116 µm for 3D raised effects and a tactile finish. When activating the dithering mode, the varnish thickness can be as low as 7 µm, if the substrate permits. The minimum varnish thickness over toner (for KM Bizhub and MGI Meteor DP8700+ digital presses) is 36 µm in order to have optimum printing quality. Under certain conditions, this thickness can be reduced down to 21 µm when the CTS Corona module is installed and activated. LED#1 should be off and tested/validated applications and substrates should be used.
