Click +. 3. Click the IP tab. 4. Type the printer IP address in the address field, and then click Add. - For AppleTalk printing: Notes: • Make sure AppleTalk is activated on your printer. • This feature is supported only in Mac OS X version 10.3/10.4/10.5. 1. From the Apple menu, navigate to: System Preferences > Print & Fax 2. Click +, and then navigate to: AppleTalk > select your printer > Add For Linux users Adding the Printer Using Printer configuration 1. Connect the machine to a computer or the network. 2. Insert the Drivers and Documentation CD in the CD/DVD drive of your computer. 3. From the System menu, select Administration > Printing. 4. Click New Printer. 5. Enter the Printer name, Description, and Location > Forward. 6. From the left pane of the dialog box, select the port for the machine to be installed. 7. Click Forward. 8.
