8 Signal Strength Indicator - Vertical bars show the strength of the network connection. You can't make or receive calls when no vertical bars appear. Letters indicate a 3G k, GPRS f, or EDGE \ connection, and arrows above the signal strength indicator can signify data transfer to the phone. text entry You can enter text and numbers using the keypad.
