Note Ring tones are stored in your phone using the same memory space used to store messages, voice records, pictures, and Java application data that are stored in your phone's memory. Deleting or moving some of these other items frees memory for ring tones. Deleting Custom Ring Tones Deleting a ring tone from the list of ring tones deletes it from your phone. Except for DRM ring tones, if you delete a ring tone that you purchased from your phone, you will have to purchase it again. Under certain conditions, some DRM vendors will not charge you if you download an item multiple times within a given time frame. Please contact the DRM vendor to learn more about their download regulations. To delete a custom ring tone: 1. Press M > Ring Tones. 2. Make sure Vibrate All is set to Off. Vibrate Settings Vibrate All The Vibrate All option allows you to be notified of calls and messages with a vibration instead of an audible alert. To activate Vibrate All: ᮣ With the phone open, press and hold the volume button down in standby mode. (Pressing and holding displays "VibeAll: On." Continuing to hold the button down displays "VibeAll: Locked." - or - Press M > Ring Tones > Vibrate All. Set this option to On or Locked. Tip Setting this option to Locked requires you to press and hold the volume control up to turn Vibrate All off. The Locked option helps prevent you from accidentally turning Vibrate All off. Deleting Custom Ring Tones
Deleting a ring tone from the list of ring tones deletes it
from your phone.
Except for DRM ring tones, if you delete a ring tone that
