Changing the Theme Customize your phone's display appearance by selecting a theme to reflect your personality. 1. Press M > Settings > Display/Info > Theme. 2. Select an option and press r. Changing the Clock Display Select a format for the time and date display and choose whether the time and date appear in standby mode. 1. Press M > Settings > Display/Info > Clock. 2. Select Display, Time Format, or Date Format and then press r. 3. Select an option and press r to apply the setting. Note The year is set by the network, and even though it is an option, it cannot be changed. Changing the Text Size Adjust the font when entering text (for example, when using the notepad or when adding a Contacts entry). 1. Press M > Settings > Display/Info > Text Size. 2. Select Zoom, Standard, or Compressed and press r. Messaging Settings Staying connected to your friends and family has never been easier. With your phone's advanced messaging capabilities, you can send and receive many different kinds of text messages without placing a voice call. (For more information see "Multimedia Messages" on page 154.) Messaging settings make text messaging easier by letting you decide how you would like to be notified of new messages, create a signature with each sent message, and create your own preset messages.
