Field Description Send alerts and logs through e-mail Your Outgoing Mail Server Enter the name of your ISP's outgoing (SMTP) mail server (such as mail.myISP.com). You might be able to find this information in the configuration screen of your email program. If you leave this field blank, the modem router cannot send log and alert messages. Send to This E-mail Address Enter the email address to which logs and alerts must be sent. Outgoing Mail Server Port Number Enter the port number for your ISP's outgoing mail server. The default port number is 25. My mail server requires authentication If your ISP's outgoing email server requires authentication, select this check box and specify the following settings: • In the User Name field, enter the user name for your ISP's outgoing email server. • In the Password field, enter the password for your ISP's outgoing email server.
