Chapter 16 97 The Bird's Eye The Bird's Eye Palette enables you to view a portion of the image which is visible in the active image window. This is especially helpful when you are zoomed into your image and you cannot see the entire image in the active image window. The Bird's Eye A smaller version of your entire image is displayed in the Bird's Eye Palette, and the portion of your image visible in the active image window is indicated by a rectangle. You can click and drag the rectangle to change the portion of the image seen within the active window. To use the Bird's Eye Palette to zoom in and out of your image move the zoom bar, click on the or the buttons, or enter a zoom ratio directly into the text box. The Bird's Eye Palette is also available when working in the Browser only while the Browser is set to the Light Table view mode. While in the Light Table view mode, you will see small rectangles that represent your images, with a rectangle that displays the current position of the Browser on the Light Table. You can also click and drag the rectangle to change the portion of the Light Table that is visible within the Browser.
