Detail Adjustments PHOTO EFFECTS Any of the features in the Detail Adjustments section of the Base Adjustments step can be applied to any image, NEF, JPEG, or TIFF format. Please note: Any feature that is applied within the Detail Adjustments is applied to the entire image and cannot be adjusted using any of the Selective Tools. The Edit List The Photo Effects feature enables you to take creative control of your image. With this tool, you can covert an image to a Black and White, Sepia, or Tinted image. The Photo Effects feature also allows you to control the tonality of the image, to enhance dark tones, and to control the color balance. The features located within the Detail Adjustments section are also provided under the Menus as well as in the Adjust & Filter pull-down Menu of Enhancement Steps of the Edit List. You can selectively apply these features by accessing them from either the Menus or the Adjust & Filter pull-down Menu. To use the Photo Effects feature, click on the button next to Photo Effects.
