75 Chapter 12 Toolbar F3 - Edit This Toolbar contains tools that can be used to do very coarse adjustments to your images. This Toolbar can be viewed or hidden quickly by using the shortcut 'F3'. Toolbar F3 - Edit Multiple images can be rotated simultaneously by selecting multiple images in the Browser and then clicking on this button. Rotate The Rotate Tool enables you to rotate your image 90 degrees clockwise or counter-clockwise. Click on this button to rotate your image 90 degrees clockwise. Hold the Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac OS) key down and click on this button to rotate your image 90 degrees counter-clockwise. To reverse the direction from rotating 90 degrees clockwise to rotating 90 degrees counter-clockwise, click and hold on this icon to change the rotational direction. Rotating an image will cause a step to be created within the Edit List, enabling you to remove the rotation at any point in the future. When you save your image as a NEF file format, you can remove the rotation after the image has been saved and closed. Shortcut: Rotate the image 90 degrees to the right: Ctrl + R (Windows) Command + R (Mac OS) Rotate the image 90 degrees to the left: Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows) Command + Shift + R (Mac OS) Straighten Select this button to have the Straighten dialog appear.
