Step 2-Place Film in the Holder The film holders provided with the scanner can be used to scan 35-mm film, 35-mm slides, medium-format film, and 59 × 82 mm electron microscope film. 1 Choose a holder Choose a holder appropriate to the type of film. If necessary, remove dust from holders and film with a blower before scanning. Dust on the film or holder could damage the film or affect the quality of the scanned image ( 5). Caring for Holders and Film
