Step 3-Open the Scan Window The scanner is controlled from the Nikon Scan scan window. 1 Choose the application in which pictures will be displayed After scanning, pictures can be displayed either in Nikon Scan or in a third-party application such as Adobe Photoshop. The application in which pictures will be displayed after scanning is referred to as the "host application."
