Error Messages The following table lists the error messages and other warnings that appear in the monitor and how to deal with them. Display Problem Solution (blinks) WARNING!! BATTERY EXHAUSTED [ ] ( flashes red) Please wait WARNING!! PLEASE WAIT FOR THE CAMERA TO FINISH RECORDING Clock not set. Battery exhausted. Camera can not focus. Slow shutter speed. Pictures may be blurred. • Camera turned off. • The button pressed during recording pictures. • The mode dial rotated to another mode during recording. Set clock to current date and time. Turn camera off and replace battery. Use AF/AE lock to focus on another subject at same distance, then recompose picture. Use flash, or steady camera using tripod, by placing camera on level surface, or by holding camera in both hands with elbows against torso.
