When placing an emergency call with Keyguard active, the emergency number is displayed only after you’ve keyed in all of the digits. After the emergency call, Keyguard automatically becomes active again. Note: When Keyguard is active, calls may be possible to the emergency number programmed into your phone (e.g. 911 or other official emergency number). However, Emergency Key 9 will not operate. Speed Dial Speed Dial is a convenient feature, allowing you to make phone calls quickly and easily. Your phone recalls the phone number from your personal directory, displays it briefly, then dials it. 1) Enter memory location number (2 to 99) í 2) Press Note: Memory location 9 only works when Emergency Key 9 is set to 2II. Note: When using the Speed Dial and One-Touch Dial features, remember that the 1 and 9 keys are designated for your voice mailbox and for attempting emergency calls (only if Emergency Key 9 is 2Q). 13
