Chapter 3 Mode Dial & Shortcut Menus The diagram below describes the shortcut menus that are available with each mode dial position. The shortcut menus are the menus other than MODE MENU on the top menu. These shortcut menus can be replaced with other functions by using "Shortcut" (P. 149). The menus themselves are explained in "MODE MENU functions" (P. 52- 56). P top menu (same in A/S/M/ ) DRIVE MODE MENU S-Prg Selects the mode that best suits the scene from five modes (Portrait, Sports, Landscape, Night-scene and Movie modes). Record mode Sets the record mode. Digital zoom The maximum optical zoom can be extended even more by the digital zoom. WB S-Prg top menu S-Prg MODE MENU DIGITAL ZOOM (playback) top menu (for still pictures) Slide-show Runs through all saved pictures one after another.
