Chapter 4 Adjustments and Settings for Recording - Handling setting data @@NOTE tt The SD memory card must be inserted with the correct side facing the SD card slot. If the SD memory card is hard to insert, it may be reversed or upside-down. Do not force it into the slot. Check the orientation of the card before re-inserting it. tt On the camera, use SD memory cards that are compliant with the SD standard or the SDHC standard. tt For details on handling SD memory cards, refer to "Cautions in using SD memory cards" (page 25). Removing SD memory cards After opening the slot cover and making sure that the busy lamp is not illuminated, push the SD memory card further into the main unit and then release. This releases the SD memory card from the card slot, and remove the SD memory card and close the slot cover. Note the following points when using or storing memory cards. ffAvoid high temperature and humidity ffAvoid water droplets ffAvoid charging with electricity Store the SD memory card with the card still inserted into the camera and with the slot cover closed.
