Advanced-Shooting To select each advanced scene (P52) ■ Recording technique • Place the zoom position to T side (Tele) as closely as possible and record moving close to the subject. • ISO sensitivity is fixed to [ISO 100]. (However, when selecting INDOOR PORTRAIT, [ISO MAX400] of intelligent ISO is set.) • [ ] (face detection) is set for AF mode as default setting. • White balance cannot be adjusted when [OUTDOOR PORTRAIT] or [INDOOR PORTRAIT] is set. • If some objects in skin color exist besides faces when [SOFT SKIN] is set, the similar effect is produced. However, clarity of effect may vary depending on brightness. V SCENERY mode Taking pictures of widespread scenery. NORMAL SCENERY The focus adjusts onto far away subjects as a priority. NATURE The best setting for shooting natural scenery. ARCHITECTURE You can take sharp pictures of architecture with this setting. The guide lines are displayed. CREATIVE SCENERY The shutter speed can be changed with the same setting in [NORMAL SCENERY]. (See P50 Shutter-priority AE) U SPORTS mode Set here when you want to take pictures of sports scenes or other fast-moving events. NORMAL SPORTS Controls the ISO sensitivity while stopping movement with a high shutter speed. OUTDOOR SPORTS Fast shutter speed for stopping movement when taking photographs outdoors in good weather. INDOOR SPORTS Increases the ISO sensitivity and increases the shutter speed to prevent blurring for indoor photography. CREATIVE SPORTS The shutter speed can be changed with the same setting in [NORMAL SPORTS]. (See P50 Shutter-priority AE) • This mode is suitable for taking pictures of subjects at distances of 5 m (16.41 feet) or more. • INTELLIGENT ISO operates for all settings.
